My wife and I have been patients at 'Kings' for many years, and to write that our treatment has always been exemplary would be an understatement. First, we are always able to get an appointment on the morning or afternoon of ringing, and all the girls in Reception always have a smile in greeting, always ready to help in anyway they can. I have friends who marvel at this ease of getting appointments. Some tell me they can wait one or two weeks for an appointment. We are always treated with courtesy, respect and politeness by the Doctor's and Nursing Sisters, and, above all, sympathetic treatment of whatever is ailing us.
I would also say the same about the junior Doctor's in training I have met at the Practice.
I am pleased to see that most of the reviews are favourable, and find it hard to believe of the few that aren't, how anybody could find the serviced at 'Kings' lacking in any way.

Today I was feeling unwell so I called the surgery at 8.15am and asked for an appointment, I was given one for 9am. I saw a Dr who asked for my symptoms, examined me and suggested what it could be and wrote down what I should pick up from the chemist, he checked my temperature, took my blood pressure and asked me to leave a urine sample on my way out. He had reassured me that it was nothing serious which was my main concern. I left the sample, picked up the pills and by the time I got home had received a text from the nurse to say my sample showed no infection. I know some people can’t get an appointment for weeks and wanted to say how lucky we are to have such a good service at our surgery.

I have only been registered with Kings Medical centre for 18 months, during that time I have been very impressed with every aspect of the practice. The Reception team are amazing and very helpful .They are always positive and wanting to help. At my previous surgery near Cambridge (40 years) the receptionists were negative thinking and often seemed to enjoy being unhelpful. My treatment has always been excellent and the expertise of the doctors should be recognised.
I appreciate the phone calls to ask how I am and the speed I receive my medication. Well done to everyone at Kings Medical, and of course to our amazing NHS.

Doctors, Practice Nurses and Receptionists - a Great Team
We have been registered with the Kings Medical Centre for over 20 years and have always been treated exceptionally well and with the greatest of respect and kindness.
In recent days we have had more cause than previously to seek help and advice with various health issues and we are increasingly impressed with the practice and the service it so reliably provides.
At Kings Medical Centre we have a group of doctors with a good range of specialities between them; the doctors are very ably supported by experienced practice nurses who in turn are equally competent and approachable. Patient participation is encouraged and whoever we see is always prepared to fully discuss with us the diagnosis and management of the health problems that we present them with.
The receptionists are an incredibly important part of the Kings Avenue team and we've never found them to be anything other than courteous and helpful even when we know they must be under a lot of pressure. You need to know how the appointment system works but we have never had a problem getting an appointment when we've had a crisis.
The staff of the Kings Medical Centre as a whole work as a really great team and we are grateful to them for the service they have provided to our family over the years.
